1. Service Identity
ALQUILERY is a digital platform dedicated to the intermediation and management of reservations for car rentals without driver in Cozumel, Quintana Roo, Mexico.
ALQUILERY does not own vehicles and does not directly provide car rental services. It acts solely as an intermediary, booking agent, and commission-based facilitator between the customer and independent service providers.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, using, requesting a quote, making a reservation, or completing a payment through the website https://dnscozumel.com, the user acknowledges that they have read, understood, and expressly accepted these Terms and Conditions.
Electronic acceptance is legally valid in accordance with Mexican law and applicable consumer protection regulations.
3. Nature of the Intermediation
ALQUILERY facilitates:
Service quotations
Reservation management
Payment processing
Communication between customer and provider
The car rental agreement is entered into directly between the customer and the service provider at the time of vehicle pickup.
4. Service Providers
The services are provided by independent third parties, which may include, without limitation:
GM Rent a Car, JM, Chacal, Isla Bonita, Medprez, Sunset, Darth, and other providers available at the time of booking.
ALQUILERY has no operational control over these providers.
5. Reservation Process
A reservation is considered confirmed once the required payment has been made and confirmation has been issued by ALQUILERY.
Rates, requirements, deposits, insurance, and rental conditions depend on the selected provider.
The customer is responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information.
6. Payments
Payments made through ALQUILERY correspond to booking fees, intermediation commissions, or advance payments, as applicable.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment platforms.
Payments made in foreign currency may be reflected in Mexican pesos according to the exchange rate applied by the payment platform.
7. Invoicing
ALQUILERY only invoices amounts corresponding to its intermediation or booking services, when applicable and in accordance with current tax regulations.
The car rental service and any additional charges must be invoiced directly by the service provider if requested by the customer.
8. Vehicle Pickup and Return
Vehicle pickup and return are carried out directly between the customer and the service provider, who may require:
Valid identification
A valid driver’s license
A security deposit
A credit card or other requirements
9. Liability
ALQUILERY is not responsible for:
Vehicle damage, accidents, theft, or loss
Provider non-compliance
Additional charges determined by the provider
Operational decisions made by the provider
Any claims related to the use of the vehicle must be addressed directly to the corresponding provider.
10. Cancellations and Modifications
Cancellation and modification policies depend on the provider and the selected rate.
ALQUILERY’s booking fees or service commissions are non-refundable, unless expressly stated otherwise.
11. Website Use
The user agrees to use the website lawfully and to refrain from fraudulent bookings, misuse of the platform, or activities that may harm ALQUILERY or its providers.
12. Data Protection
Personal data will be processed in accordance with ALQUILERY’s Privacy Notice and applicable Mexican data protection laws.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States.
For any dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts of Cozumel, Quintana Roo, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction.
