Definitions
User:
An individual or legal entity utilizing our transportation services for personal, tourist, or business purposes.
The Company:
RENTADORA XAMAN EK S.A. DE C.V., also known as dns cozumel RENTALS.
Providers:
Companies that offer vehicle rental services without a driver in the areas where the service is provided, including but not limited to: GM RENT A CAR S.A. DE C.V., MEDPREZ S.A. DE C.V., RENTADORA CHACAL, RENTADORA LIBRA, RENTADORA MAHI MAHI, RENTADORA ISLA BONITA, etc.

Cash (Mexican Pesos or foreign currencies)
Electronic transfers
Credit and debit cards
Incentives:
Discount coupons published on social media, activated upon request by the User.
Additional Services:
Any extraordinary activity inside or outside business hours that is not included in the final price but can be contracted to fulfill a need related to the provided service.

General Terms
1. The User acknowledges that The Company acts as an intermediary between Providers and the User.
2. The User understands that The Company is directly responsible for providing accurate pricing, terms, and conditions, which apply to all Providers.
3. The User acknowledges that they are not paying for the time the vehicle is in motion but for the duration the vehicle is at their disposal.
4. The User understands that the minimum rental period is 24 hours. If the vehicle is used for less time, the cost remains the same unless a prior agreement is established and recorded in the rental contract.

RESERVATIONS
1. A reservation is considered confirmed once a Confirmation Number is provided through any contact method.
2. To reserve a vehicle:
With Payment: A reservation can be made at any time up to 24 hours before arrival. The User must pay for the first rental day in advance. The vehicle will be held exactly 60 minutes before the scheduled arrival until the User arrives or the rental period ends.
Without Payment: A reservation must be made at least 20 minutes before arrival. The vehicle will be held for 20 minutes and will not be assigned to another client during that period (subject to availability).
3. The User can pick up the reserved vehicle between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday to Sunday, at the agreed pickup location specified in the Confirmation Number.
4. The User must meet the mandatory rental requirements. Failure to meet any of these requirements will result in automatic cancellation of the reservation without liability to The Company.
Mandatory Rental Requirements:
Valid physical driver's license in good condition
Security deposit
Prior knowledge of the vehicle’s operation
Not being under the influence of alcohol or drugs

Reservation Cancellations
1. The User can cancel their reservation at any time up to 24 hours before their scheduled arrival (as stated in the Confirmation Number).
2. The User will receive a 100% refund via the original payment method, provided the cancellation occurs within the permitted period.
3. The Company may take up to 10 days to process the refund.

Reservation Annulments
The Company may annul a reservation at any time, without liability, under the following conditions:
1. The User did not make a Prepaid Reservation and failed to arrive at the agreed date and time.
2. The User’s payment could not be processed for a Prepaid Reservation.
3. The User does not meet the Mandatory Rental Requirements.
No refunds will be issued if the User fails to meet the Mandatory Rental Requirements.

Valid physical driver’s license in good condition
Minimum age: 21 years old

Prior experience operating the vehicle
Not under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Rates:
Rates include insurance and taxes.
Included Insurance Coverage:
LI (Liability Insurance): Third-party damage coverage
LDW (Loss Damage Waiver): Total loss or theft coverage
PAI (Personal Accident Insurance): Passenger injury protection
RSA (Roadside Assistance): Emergency assistance
Deductibles depend on the rented vehicle (minimum $1,200 USD).
Included Taxes:

Rental Cancellations
A User may cancel their rental and receive a full refund if:
The cancellation occurs within 30 minutes of picking up the vehicle.
The User did not make a Prepaid Reservation.
The Company fails to replace a malfunctioning vehicle within 60 minutes.
No refunds will be issued if:
The User is involved in an accident.
A prior contract agreement states the rental is non-refundable.

Delayed Arrival Policy
1. If the User has a Prepaid Reservation but arrives late and cannot be contacted, the vehicle will be held at GM RENT A CAR’s office (Calle 2 Norte, Cozumel Centro).
2. If the User had scheduled off-site delivery, but logistics no longer allow it, the User must pick up the vehicle at the designated office within business hours.
3. The rental period starts as indicated in the Confirmation Number, regardless of arrival time.

Incentive Policies
Incentives are not combinable with other promotions, coupons, or discounts.
Incentive coupons have no cash value.

Additional Services & Fees
After-hours pickup/drop-off: $150 MXN per event
Off-site pickup/drop-off within business hours: $840 MXN (max 4 vehicles or 2 contracts)
Extra hour: $150 MXN per hour (max 2 hours)
Fuel Charges:
Charges apply per ¼ missing tank and vary by vehicle type (from $30 MXN to $600 MXN).
Lost Key Replacement:
Vehicles with chip: $3,000 MXN
Vehicles without chip: $600 MXN
Motorcycles: $300 MXN
Vehicle unlocking: $700 MXN
Roadside Rescue Fees:
Regular zones: $2,000 MXN

Confirmation number: Number provided by a representative of "The company" linked to a paid or unpaid service, which specifies the assigned vehicle type, arrival date and time, arrival method, payment method, the amount paid if applicable, as well as the address and "Contact methods" of "The company" and the "User."
Payment method: Cash (Mexican pesos or foreign currencies), Electronic transfers, Credit, and debit cards.
Incentives: Discount coupons published on social media that are activated when requested by a "User."
Additional services: Any extraordinary activity within or outside office hours not considered in the final cost and that can be hired to meet any needs related to the provided service.
General
The "User" is aware that "The company" acts as an intermediary between the "Providers" and the "User."
The "User" is aware that "The company" is directly responsible for the information provided; prices, terms and conditions, and that it applies to all "Providers."
The "User" will understand that "THEY DO NOT PAY FOR THE TIME THEIR VEHICLE IS IN MOTION, BUT FOR THE TIME THAT SAID VEHICLE IS AT THEIR DISPOSAL."
The "User" will understand that the minimum rental time is 24 hrs, so even if only a fraction of those 24 hrs is used, the cost will not vary without prior agreement from both parties, which must be recorded in the service contract.
Reservations
1. "The company" considers a reservation as an obligation of service to a "User" who has obtained a "confirmation number" through any "Contact method."
2. To reserve a vehicle: -
WITH PAYMENT: At any time up to 24 hrs before arrival. The "User" must pay for the first day of service. The vehicle will stop exactly 60 mins before the customer's arrival until they arrive or until the service ends.
WITHOUT PAYMENT: It must be made 20 minutes before the customer's arrival. The vehicle will stop for 20 minutes and will not be assigned to another customer until that time has elapsed (subject to availability).
3. The "User" understands that they can pick up the reserved unit between 9 am and 7 pm from Monday to Sunday, at the points established and agreed upon in the "confirmation number."
4. The "User" must have the requirements required to take the service, SO IF THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY OF THEM, THE RESERVATION IS CANCELED WITHOUT THE COMPANY'S RESPONSIBILITY.
The Requirements required to take the service are:
a) Valid, physical, and in good condition driver's license.
b) Security deposit.
c) Prior knowledge of driving the vehicle.
d) Not be under the influence of alcohol or toxic substances.
Reservation Cancellation
The "User" understands that they can cancel the reservation at any time before 24 hrs. before the arrival time specified in the "Confirmation number."
The "User" understands that they will receive a 100% refund by the credited "Payment method," as long as the cancellation is made during the agreed period in these policies.
The "User" understands that the "company" may refund within 10 days after the refund has been accepted.
Reservation Cancellation
"The company" may cancel the reservation at any time, without prejudice to it, when:
a) The "User" has not made a "WITH PAYMENT" reservation and has not arrived on the date and time agreed in the "Confirmation number."
b) The "User" has not completed the "WITH PAYMENT" reservation due to a lack of accreditation in the payment method for which the request was made.
c) The "User" does not meet any of the "Required Requirements." "The company" will not refund any amount when any of the "Required Requirements" is not met.
Changes to the reservation
The "User" understands that they can make any changes, lacking 24 or more hrs before their arrival, as indicated in the "Confirmation number."
The "User" understands that there are no possible changes when there are 23:59 hrs or less until the arrival specified in the "Confirmation number," understands that if they do not take the reserved unit, for any situation beyond the company, no extension, change of date, partial or total refund, or change to another type of unit that does not correspond to the one specified in the "Confirmation number" is granted.
The "User" understands that "The company" can make exceptions to the change policies outside the allowed hours, only and exclusively when: The weather affects both parties and endangers both the unit and the "User."
Rental Requirements
a) Valid, physical, and in good condition driver's license.
b) Minimum age of 21 years.
c) Guarantee deposit (Depends on the unit and model)
d) Prior knowledge of driving the vehicle.
e) Not be under the influence of alcohol or toxic substances.
Rates
This price already includes insurance and taxes.
Insurance included: - (LI)
Damage to third parties - (LDW)
Total destruction or theft of the vehicle - (PAI)
Protection for damage to your companions - (RSA)
Roadside assistance service.
Taxes included: - 16% VAT
All protections have a deductible that depends on the rented unit. MINIMUM OF $1200 USD.
Rental Cancellation
The "User" understands that they have 30 minutes after taking the vehicle to cancel their service. The "User" will receive a 100% refund, as long as:
1. No more than 30 minutes have passed since the departure time stipulated in the rental contract.
2. It was not the product of a reservation "WITH PAYMENT"
3. The company cannot replace the reserved unit in less than 60 minutes due to mechanical failure.
The "User" understands that they will not receive a refund if they cancel before 30 minutes after taking the vehicle when:
1. There has been an accident and the service is no longer desired or the circumstances no longer allow it.
2. When there has been a prior agreement stipulated in the contract regarding its non-annulment.
Incentive policies
The "incentives" cannot be combined with other promotions, coupons, and/or discounts. Coupons represent a promotional offer and are not equivalent to cash.
Additional services
Delivery or reception outside office hours (Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) $150 MXN per event.
Delivery or reception outside the CZM office or airport, during office hours (Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.), $840 MXN. Maximum 4 units or two contracts.
Overtime, $150 MXN per overtime hour, maximum two overtime hours after contract expiration.
Fuel replenishment:
- Motorcycles $30 MXN for each 1/4 of the missing tank.
- ATV, $70 MXN for each 1/4 of the missing tank.
- Compact, $200 MXN for each 1/4 of the missing tank.
- Sedan, $300 MXN for each 1/4 of the missing tank.
- Open (Chevy, VW, Jeep, buggie) $350 MXN for each 1/4 tank left.
